Who needs a pre concrete scan?

  • Underfloor heating, plumbing runs, and post-tensioning all disappear the moment concrete is poured. A pre-concrete scan gives you a precise record of exactly what's in the slab, so any future issue can be fixed without guesswork.

  • Large commercial slabs often carry complex, multi-trade services, drainage, conduits, structural reinforcement. A pre-concrete scan documents the full layout before the pour, protecting against costly, invasive repairs down the line.

  • For projects with extensive in-ground services, a pre-concrete scan creates a lasting record of exactly what's beneath the surface, critical when future works or excavations need to avoid existing infrastructure.

  • For any trade installing services before a pour, a pre-concrete scan is proof of exactly where everything was run, settling any query about slab contents instantly, without digging to check.

What It Is

Before the pour, our LiDAR scanner captures your formwork, rebar, plumbing runs, electrical conduits, and post-tensioning cables in full detail, fused with 42MP 360° photography to build a true-to-scale digital twin. Every element within the slab is documented to the millimetre, giving you a permanent record of exactly what's there and exactly where, before it disappears under concrete for good.

Why It Matters

Concrete is unforgiving. The moment it's poured, everything underneath becomes permanently sealed away, no photo, memory, or set of plans will ever tell you precisely where a pipe or conduit sits again. When something goes wrong down the line, a plumbing leak, a service that needs rerouting, most builders are left guessing, cutting exploratory holes and hoping they land in the right spot. That guesswork is expensive, slow, and often causes damage that a precise fix never would have.

A pre-concrete scan removes that risk entirely. If an issue ever surfaces, you open the model, pinpoint the exact location of the service in question, and cut or core only where it's actually needed. What would otherwise be a costly, invasive repair becomes a fast, targeted one.

Document what you're about to bury. Millimetre-accurate records of everything beneath your slab, before it's gone for good.
